burn me at the stake for this one. i think i deserve it. in my defense monster prom is literally the first and oldest game making it one of the weaker ones by today's standards by like... default. still fun tho! i like going back and playing it for nostalgia's sake

2) monster roadtrip

i always see this one ranked low in people's ratings and TBF i get why; it's a big shift from the other formats... however that's what makes it rank higher for me personally HAHA i like management games ! although games with other people can take a hot while they're still fun. also the return of my queen polly.... i've been tweaking over liam recently but polly's ALWAYS been my top fave

1) monster con

okay this one might be recency bias but at the same time i think monster con hits ALL the marks. amazing character interactions, great balance of funny and genuinely meaningful scenes, really fun side tasks (the comics and shop ?? amazing. i love the juan communism strip and yi feng's SEXY!!!) and don't get me STARTED on the r/o roster. liam and zoe were perfect characters to bring back and i just love everybody else so much. april shot up in my faves SO fast. also, the setting is just so fun to me as a certified loser. i'm ashamed at how fast i got some of the fandom references... lol
